Aircrew and Medical Standards and Implementation Section Manager (acting), EASA – Flight Standards Directorate
Mr. Daan Dousi, a Dutch national, has an 18-year international career within various aviation related areas. Prior to joining EASA he worked for commercial operators and training organisations where he gained competences in commercial airline operations, instructor training, training organisation management and airport ground operations. For the past 3 years, he has been managing a multinational team of aviation experts involved in various European regulatory rulemaking and standardisation surveillance activities in regard of flight crew licencing, medical certification and FSTD qualification requirements.
His educational background consists of a completed integrated ATP course, a type rating and instructor qualification on the Boeing 737-800. In parallel he completed a business degree and professional management studies. Daan is fluent in Dutch, English and German languages.
