US FAA Flight Standards Service, Office of Aircraft Maintenance Policy Division
Marcus Cunningham has worked in the FAA Office of Aircraft Maintenance Policy Division since 2006. During his tenure at FAA Headquarters, he has had responsibility for many different policy areas, including designees, import/export issues, Airmen, maintenance, and inspection program policy. and unmanned and remotely piloted aircraft. From 2011 to 2013, he spent two years working in the FAA International Field Office in Singapore focusing primarily on repair station surveillance. Prior to working with the FAA, Mr. Cunningham spent five years working in the Quality Assurance Department of a Part 121 airline. Prior to that, he spent six years in Part 135 and repair station environments. Marcus holds an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license as well as a Commercial Pilot’s license. His interests include aviation as well as computers and electronics.
